At STL, innovation is the key driver to being an industry leader. Constantly improving existing products and processes and creating new fastening solutions in sync with evolving market requirements, our dedicated R&D and Engineering department spearheads this drive.
We introduce an average of 80-90 new products in the market every year while our in-house design and tool shop develops, builds and tests our press tools and dies to ensure accuracy, durability and reliability in all our products. Development of a new range of chassis fasteners for EVs, a new range of fasteners for the EV PowerTrain, a new coating technology for better corrosion resistance and durability besides a variety of micro and miniature screws for consumer electronics applications, are some of the recent achievements of our accomplished R&D team.
Working in close coordinating with select customers right from the early stages of product design and development, our seasoned professionals use latest technologies like CAD software to design new products. Matching customer specifications, they reduce design errors, improve efficiency, enhance product performance and optimize production processes to create a cost and quality advantage for our customers.
Our R&D department collaborates with external agencies and institutions like universities, research organizations and industry associations to exchange knowledge and expertise and access the best practices and innovations in the field of fasteners.
