At STL, ESG leadership stems from recognizing the symbiotic relationship amid environmental, social and corporate governance factors and leveraging them to create long-term value for our community
Environment
Environmental sustainability is ingrained across our business operations.
Our manufacturing processes re designed to minimize wastage and we have adopted state-of the-art energy-efficient systems and practices as part of our ESG targets. Aiming to improve our renewable energy usage, we have installed 2.136 MW rooftop solar power plant generating about 8500 units of electricity per day at our facilities. These will help us conserve resources and energy and keep our input costs under control.

Committed to making a positive impact on the world around us – both within and beyond our factories and offices, STL maintains a diverse, inclusive, equitable and meritocratic work environment that empowers and motivates our employee to do their best. Our CSR policy focusses on health, education and empowerment of the underprivileged sections of society.

These core values are the basis of our ESG paradigm. Besides complete adherence to all regulatory norms, STL follows the Business Responsibility & Sustainability Report (BRSR) as per latest SEBI requirements and directives.

Our commitment to sustainability is evident through the implementation of a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, reducing our water footprint, and a shift to cleaner fuels to lower our carbon footprint. Embracing the principles of Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse (3R) across all aspects of our business, we continuously evolve our processes. Additionally, we actively adopt innovative measures to reduce plastic consumption, reflecting our dedication to environmentally responsible practices.
CSR Activities
STL’s myriad CSR activities reflect our commitment to making the world a better place for our communities and the society at large. Our focused initiatives have impacted the lives of many from the underprivileged sections in a positive way.
As a responsible corporate citizen, some of our latest CSR work includes:
- Supporting 588 Children under Childhood Cancer care through Cankids-in partnership with Safdarjung Hospital.
- Transforming the lives of 15 deaf children through Cochelar Surgery conducted by Chiranjiv Medical Foundation.
- Sponsoring scholarships at Delhi University’s leading colleges for young women from underprivileged Sections.
- Transforming one government school in New Delhi by providing
- Providing benefit to 1365 families and 2034 citizens in Hisar (Haryana) through knowledge programmes on government policies with the help of Bhajan Global Impact Foundation.
