Sterling Tools plans to manufacture advanced HVDC contactors and relays at its new Bengaluru facility, making these components more accessible and affordable for OEMs and Tier-1 companies.

Sterling Tools Limited, through its subsidiary Sterling Tech-Mobility Limited, has partnered with Kunshan GLVAC Yuantong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (GLVAC YT) to manufacture High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) contactors and relays in India. This partnership aims to leverage Sterling Tools' manufacturing expertise and GLVAC YT’s technology to meet the growing demand for EV components in India. The collaboration is expected to generate INR 250 crore in business by FY30 and involves an investment of around INR 40 crore for a new facility in Bengaluru.
