A team of highly competent and experienced leaders in the field lead STL’s Engineering Department. The Department is equipped with the latest software in CAD and simulation. Armed with an extensive library and database of knowledge, our engineering team is committed to the production of precision parts.
The engineering department has two responsibilities:
- New product development – STL follows standard operating procedures to develop new parts based on enquiries received from the Marketing department of the company. Feasibility studies are conducted to identify suitability for manufacturing.
- Product and process improvement – The engineering department in conjunction with Manufacturing conducts value engineering activity to not only improve our overall equipment effectiveness but also improve the quality of our products to better satisfy customers.
